BZC Annual FUNdraising Bazaar

Come One, Come All to BZC’s Annual Party and Fundraiser
Support the BZC Building Fund!

Saturday, September 27, right after lecture

Plan to spend the afternoon at BZC eating delicious food, listening to live music provided by BZC’s own Hozan Alan Senauke, chatting with your dharma sisters and brothers, and supporting BZC’s Building Fund by purchasing raffle tickets, signing up for exciting sangha-member-led events, or making a tax-deductible donation to the BZC Building Fund.

Why the Building Fund?

Dues and unrestricted donations are like daily zazen, the foundation of our practice. Capital outlays are more akin to sesshin—a challenge, but also a unique opportunity to come together in mutual endeavor and support. BZC needs your support to undertake necessary building maintenance projects. As you are probably aware, we ran into unexpected expenses in the kitchen remodel this last January. We are hoping to raise $25,000 this year to make long-deferred repairs to the apartment at 1929 Russell.

There Are Many Fun Ways for You to Support This Effort

Win Fabulous Prizes!

Starting August 16, raffle tickets will be sold after the Saturday program up to and including the day of the event. All proceeds from ticket sales will replenish BZC’s Building Fund for much needed maintenance. Raffle tickets are an affordable way for members to support BZC’s fundraising efforts. You can purchase one ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20, and you need not be present to win. Consider buying tickets for friends or selling to friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Contact Stephanie Solar ( if you would like a ticket-selling packet.
